MercyMercy Mercy's footsteps echoed up and down the shadowed corridor. This place was new to her, but she didn't pay any attention to it. For although she had never been down this particular hallway she has seen others like it. The Passages of Death were not very imaginative; no seering pain of hell or the comfort of heaven. Just one big conjunction of paths, hallways and corridors. Of course everything led somewhere, but to where no-one knows. As a Mercenary of Death it wasn't her job to Know these things.
